Dr. Ilan Cohen, VMD is an experienced veterinarian and practitioner at Pets Furst Urgent Care. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for many years, with prior experience in Santa Fe, New Mexico, New York, and Pennsylvania before joining Pets Furst. 

Dr. Cohen’s clinical interests include soft-tissue surgery, pain management, and anesthesia, and he is known for providing compassionate, high-quality care for dogs and cats. He leads the hospital in surgery and  helps to oversee clinical services and patient care. 

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Cohen lives in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. He likes spending time with his three boys, partner Karin, dog Yofi, and cat Topsy. He also enjoys a range of outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding. Playing, repairing, and trading guitars is his biggest hobby.
