Jonas Colmer, VMD
Jonas Colmer, VMD, is a dedicated veterinarian and a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2021). Originally from Belmar, New Jersey, Dr. Colmer brings a rich background as an accomplished equestrian, which fueled his passion for animal health and led him to pursue veterinary medicine.
At Pets Furst Urgent Care in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Dr. Colmer is a practitioner, specializing in non-life-threatening emergencies and common conditions in dogs and cats, including allergies, skin and ear infections, gastrointestinal issues, urinary tract infections, and orthopedic or neurologic pain. He excels in identifying injury sources, alleviating pain, and developing effective short- and long-term treatment protocols to help pets recover quickly. Committed to accessible care, Dr. Colmer emphasizes convenient and compassionate services, educating pet owners on prevention and maintenance to empower them in managing their animals’ health. “Our goal is to provide pets and their owners with a five-star experience,” he says, “treating everyone as members of our growing Pets Furst family in our open-concept practice.”
Outside of work, Dr. Colmer enjoys family life in Bucks County with his fiancée, their three children, and their beloved pets: three dogs (Stout, Bailey, and Cooper) and two cats (Jack Jack and Dory).
